Ms O Doherty's 6th class have been taking part in the Concern Primary Debating Competition. This year the debates are taking place on Zoom. The girls had their first debate against Tramore Educate Together on December 9th and they won! The motion was "The Internet should be banned in schools" and St. Ursula's were opposing the motion. The whole class spent lots of time researching and coming up with arguments. The speakers on the day were Leah Hartery, Caroline Elza Shaji and Emily O' Keeffe.
