The student Council have been working on a project to brighten up the yard area of St Ursula’s. They contacted local artist Caoilfhionn Hanton who has done a lot of work with the ‘Waterford Walls’ murals and who is also a past pupil. The Council members had several meetings with her and shared their ideas with her. With the help of Caoilfhionn, they decided to commission a mural of some of our pupils. One pupil was chosen from each class level, the idea being that they would represent all the pupils in our wonderful school. The girls were randomly picked from each level and Caoilfhionn began work last week.
